Set out below are the Terms of Sale, which apply to all items ordered from The Good Cart. Please read through them carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. Please also read our Privacy Notice regarding personal information provided by you.
Only customers aged 18 or over may purchase products from this website.
1. WHO WE ARE
The Good Cart is an e-commerce platform operated by Unilever International, a global business unit headquartered in Singapore as part of Unilever Asia Private Limited, which is a member of the Unilever Group. At Unilever International, our purpose is ‘serve the undeserved, to make a difference’. The Good Cart forms part of Unilever International’s purpose initiative by making Unilever’s purposeful brands available to consumers directly and sustainably.
2. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We will do our best to ensure that all information, descriptions, photographs and prices of products appearing on this website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Though we aim to keep this website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this website may not always reflect the product exactly at the moment you place an order.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Please visit our Privacy Notice for further information on how we use your personal information which we collect when you make orders on this website.
4. RESELLING OF PRODUCTS
The products and services available on this website, and any samples thereof we may provide to you, are for personal use only. You may not sell or resell any of the products or services, or samples thereof, you purchase or otherwise receive from us. We reserve the right, with or without notice, to cancel or reduce the quantity of any orders that we believe, in our sole discretion, may result in the violation of these Terms of Sale.
5. ONLINE ORDERS
When you order online, you will be helped through the process by simple instructions on this website. You place your order request for goods from this website by clicking on the Complete Order button at the end of the online order process. When you have placed your order, we will send you an email acknowledgement providing you with the details and value of your order. You acknowledge that the receipt of an order acknowledgment is not considered an acceptance of your order by us.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you to the delivery address you have provided.
We may not accept your order if an item you have ordered is out of stock, we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, we suspect fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms of Sale (including our Privacy Notice) or if we identify a product or pricing error. If for some reason we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you by email or telephone.
6. YOUR RIGHT OF REFUND
a) Order cancellation
No cancellation will be allowed after the order has been placed.
b) Application for the refund of an item
You may apply for the refund of an item in the following circumstances:
- The item was defective, damaged and/or expired on delivery;
- The item delivered to Buyer is materially different from the description or specifications provided by us in the listing of the item; or
- Such other circumstances as may be determined by Unilever from time to time.

All refund applications must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the date of receipt of the relevant item by you.
Please note that, if required by us, you must return the defective or wrong item to a location designated by us within [ten (10) calendar days] after the return request is raised. Costs incurred by you in fulfilling the return request will be borne by us.
The approval of your request for refund will be made by us in our sole discretion and may be conditional upon fulfilment of any return request raised by us. You acknowledge and agree that our decision is final, conclusive and binding, and covenant and agree that you will not bring suit or otherwise assert any claim against us or our affiliates in relation to such decision.
The outcome of your refund request will be notified to you by email or telephone.
Refunds may be made in the form of discount voucher code (redeemable on this website) and/or direct cash refund to customer’s credit/debit card or designated bank account. If your refund application is successful, our customer service team will reach out to you to discuss your preferred method of refund.
7. DELIVERY AND TITLE TO GOODS
We will deliver the goods following the delivery option selected by you during the order process. Any delivery timescales quoted to you are indicative only. We do not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party.
Please note that we are only able to deliver goods to locations in Singapore.
Delivery options available to you are as follows:
Estimated delivery time is 3 - 5 Business Days
For orders of S$20 or more: Free
For orders below S$20: S$5 delivery charge will apply.
(Unless otherwise stated during promotional periods)
For purposes of this section, “Business Day” means a day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in Singapore, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
We will retain the legal ownership of the goods until they have been delivered to you. Risk in the goods will pass to you upon delivery to you.
8. ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS
Upon receipt, you must inspect the goods. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods unless you have submitted a refund application in accordance with the procedure set out in the section titled “Your right of refund”. If no such action is taken, we shall not be obliged to accept any rejection of the goods at a later date.
9. PRICE AND PAYMENT
Whilst we make best efforts to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, there may be instances where errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any item which you have ordered, we may, at our sole discretion, decide to cancel your order. If this happens, we will notify you via email. If you have already paid for your order, you will receive a full refund of the paid price in accordance with section 6(c) of these Terms of Sale.
The prices shown on this website include any GST (or similar sales tax) at the prevailing rate for which we are responsible as the seller and are in Singapore dollars. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. The delivery charges will depend on the delivery option that you choose and will be shown during the checkout process.
b) How to pay
Card payments are processed through third-party payment channels and the type of credit /debit cards accepted by these payment channels may vary from time to time. By making payment through these third-party payment channels, you agree to be bound by any applicable user agreement or terms and conditions of such third-party payment channels.
We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any loss or damages to our customers arising from shipping information and/or payment information entered by our customers or wrong remittance by our customers in connection with the payment for the items purchased. We reserve the right to check whether a customer is duly authorised to use certain payment method, and may suspend the transaction until such authorisation is confirmed or cancel the relevant transaction where such confirmation is not available.
10. PROMOTIONAL / PROMO CODES
Each Promo Code will be subject to specific terms & conditions specified at the time the Promo Code is issued (including the length of time to use the code) in addition to those mentioned in these Terms of Sale. Only one Promo Code can be used against an order at any one time and a Promo Code cannot be applied to an order after that order has been placed.
We are unable to accept any responsibility once we have given you a Promo Code and we are not obliged to provide you with a replacement if it gets lost and/or gets used by someone else as this will result in the Promo Code being cancelled.
We reserve the right to amend or remove any offer or discount given by a promotional code or voucher.
11. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
The material displayed on this website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary to the fullest extent permitted by law, Unilever and its affiliates, suppliers, content providers and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damage to goodwill or reputation, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of this website and any materials posted thereon, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise.
This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence, nor for fraudulent misrepresentation, misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
- a) If you breach these Terms of Sale and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms of Sale.
- b) These Terms of Sale are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
13. CHANGES TO THE TERMS
You agree that we may change or revise these Terms of Sale from time to time by updating this posting, and that such changes or revision will take effect immediately on posting. Visit this area each time you make an order on this website to keep up to date with the current Terms of Sale. Your use of this website to make orders reaffirms your continuing agreement to the then-current Terms of Sale.
