Our Contributions to The Food Bank: $50 spent = 1 meal donated

The Good Cart (TGC) takes great pride in supporting The Food Bank Singapore (TFBSG), a non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food waste.
By collaborating closely with The Food Bank, we are able to extend our helping hand to those in need and contribute to a more sustainable future!

THE IMPACT OF OUR CAUSE
The positive impact of TGC's cause is nothing short of remarkable.
Our commitment is reflected in the way we help donate meals and essential household items for TFBSG's beneficiaries -
For every $50 spent on The Good Cart's website, we donate meals to the beneficiaries in need.
As of June 2023, we have proudly sponsored over 3000 meals for those in need! These meals have provided opportunities for recipients to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives, proving that even the smallest actions can make a significant difference!
QUARTERLY DONATIONS OF HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS
As shared by The Food Bank, based on The Hunger Report by Singapore Management University, “Need support for non-food essential items” is flagged up as a key support needed by people experiencing economic hardship.
In conjunction with The Good Cart’s 1st year anniversary in July 2023, we pledge to provide quarterly donations of Unilever’s household essentials to The Food Bank, further uplifting the lives of the beneficiaries.
DRIVE HUNGER AWAY 3 (#DHA3) EVENT
In 2022, we supported The Food Bank's 3rd Drive Hunger Away event and we are filled with immense gratitude for the dedicated efforts of our compassionate shoppers who generously volunteered their weekends to make DHA3 an overwhelming success!
Through their unwavering support, we were able to extend our helping hand to The Food Bank Singapore in a truly meaningful way.
JOY IN A BUNDLE
During DHA3, our incredible team of volunteers worked tirelessly, packing individual bundles with utmost care and love for distribution through convoys.
The impact of our volunteers' selfless actions goes beyond measure, as they not only help donate meals but also made possible the inclusion of bundles with over 2000 units of essential household products such as Dove and Lifebuoy. These bundles became a beacon of hope for the beneficiaries of TFBSG, offering them much-needed comfort and support in their time of need.
As we celebrate the triumphs of DHA3, we are filled with hope and determination to continue making a positive impact in the lives of the beneficiaries with TFBSG!
